Mobile Libraries
In 2024, we piloted 3 mobile library units at schools in Uganda that had a need for a library for their students. 1 library went to a school in Gulu District and 2 libraries went to schools in Mukono District.
These mobile shelves are made in Uganda and are secure and termite resistant. Each unit can hold hundreds of books and is able to be wheeled between classrooms in order to maximize access for pupils at the schools.
Each mobile library unit costs $1,500. The shelves are manufactured by a welder in Uganda and the shelves are filled with books published and purchased in Uganda.
In 2025 we plan to add 1-3 mobile libraries to our collection and need your help to make this happen!
