Buying Books in Uganda

In addition to the books we send from Canada, we want to see a flourishing and thriving publishing industry in Uganda!

It is important for children to see themselves in the stories they read. 

We are planning to purchase 5,000 books in Uganda this May!

We will be purchasing books from 2 Ugandan Publishers: The Oasis Books Project and Old Mzee Publishing. 

It costs us $5 to purchase and distribute 1 book in Uganda.
