On November 30th we gathered at the beautiful Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Club for an evening of community and storytelling.
As we near the end of a 3-year relaunch journey as an organization we had much to celebrate and many stories to share!
One highlight of the evening was listening to Andrew Jackson Obol share Lango folktales from Uganda with us. We were on the edge of our seats as we listened to the tale of The Hare In The Time Of Drought.
The tale reminds us of the need for each of us to do our part to address challenges that we face and the need for us to work together as a community.
Funds raised from the evening will go to furthering literacy equity for children in Uganda. Thank you for your support in making this possible.
We are already looking forward to our next Stories Around The Table dinner in 2025. Stay tuned!
