Family Reading Program – Downtown Kelowna

NITEO Family Reading Programs cultivate welcoming spaces for families in Kelowna and Vernon to read and learn together. Each week we gather at a local library for a 1 hour program designed for parents and children to attend together. Through a combination of group activities and 1:1 time with volunteer Reading Mentors, parents and children are supported with their reading and conversational English. Learning and literacy are made fun in this program and it is our hope that as we gather around books and stories that moments are turned into lifelong memories!

The Fall 2025 session will run weekly from 5:30-6:30pm October – November. 

Cost: Free

Registration is required.  Registration link.

Priority registration is given to families who are newcomers to Canada.
